Hey Guys,

I'm new to the forums and just bought my first EBMM JPM6, am very excited about it! The guitar is listed at http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7328189328&ssPageName=ADME:B:BN:UK:1 as Candy Red but from what I recall, there was a limited run of Radiance Red which looked quite similar to this. As such, I was wondering if you guys think this is a Candy Red or Radiance Red finish? Many thanks!

Best Regards,
Terry

As I recall, the Rad Red has a black headstock, wheras a stock colour would have a matching red stock or a plain wood headstock - If your stock is black (Ican't quite tell on my monitor) then it's Rad red :)

Pictures are a little dark but I think it's a black headstock :) Can't wait to get it in and give it a try, I've heard so much about EBMM and always wanted to own one!

I think it's Rad Red - some of the other guys are experts on this subject - I'm sure they'll post soon. You'll love your new axe - EBMM guitars all play like a dream - the unfinished necks are addictive - it is really hard to play anything else afterwards and you end up wanting many more. Start saving - these things will take all your time and money... :)

Definately a black headstock in that picture, so unless it's something whacky, it's radiance red :) One way to tell for sure when you get it would be to look at the guitar in direct sunlight - if you go blind from the reds and gold glistening off it, it's radiance red.

I would bet my Candy Red Bongo that it's Radiance Red. Radiance Red is so red it will burn your eyes and in that light, if it were Candy Red, it would be much darker. Both are great colors and you just bought yourself an awesome guitar.

Welcome to the addiction! I have a Rad Red JP-6 and mine has a matching headstock. The Rad Red with a black headstock had a limited edition run. I'm not sure if you could still get the Rad Red with a black headstock as a standard choice, but, I prefer the matching headstock on mine. Once you get her and take her out the case....make sure you have something soft to land on because this color will make you fall out with how awesome it is. Go to the sunlight and look at her......has a hint of sparkle in her. This is by far, one of my favorite colors.
