EBMM necks?

Are all the EBMM neck profiles the same? I love the feel of my JP6 neck, how thin it is and the overall ease I have while playing my Ball I haven't had the chance to play anyhting other than the JP model, so I'm wondering if I would go for a cheaper model, would the neck have the same feel?

None of the other MM guitar necks feel anything like the JP6 -- in my opinion.

The JP is unique. The neck is a bit more flat in feel... other neck profiles have more of a round feel.

The JP is also the widest EBMM neck at 1 11/16" wide at the nut; all other EBMM guitars are 1 5/8" wide (like a vintage Fender).

I'll echo the other posts - the JP neck is unique among EBMM guitars.

During my test drive with Pete, I played all the models. One model (maybe the Al or Morse?) has a V shape, the Axis is a much thicker and asymetric neck and the silos were like a classic D shape, from what I remember. I believe that all the necks are unique from each other in some way or another.

I have never heard of a D shape neck. That sounds interesting to me. Each one is unique. The JP is on it's own and the truth is the other are not even close. The Luke is the one with the V and the Axis is a bit thick but no were near those 50's profiles and the 70's U shapes.

Ah the Silo deff doesn't have a D Shape then. Thanks for the info.

Don't forget the BFR JP's. Those have a finished (painted) neck.

And it is slightly thicker than the standard JP neck. Still very comfortable but definitely a tad thicker.
