Here's something that I am very interested in.

Ernie Ball Strap Locks
Mechanically engineered to ensure ultimate instrument protection, Ernie Ball’s new Strap Locks feature a push-button, quick-release design, providing a safe, complete 360-degree secure connection to keep your instrument close at hand. Positive locking pins ensure that the locks will not release until the buttons are completely depressed, while the contoured design prevents accidental release. All Ernie Ball Strap Locks are casehardened and steel-plated, making for the most robust and rust-resistant strap lock on the market. Securely fastening buttons mean that Strap Locks can accommodate straps without their own locking mechanisms as well. Available in metallic black, gold and chrome, each Strap Lock easily installs without any instrument modifications whatsoever.

Thanx man, that's great

They look like a great design and I wonder if they work with the current screw?

Wow! That's too cool. I've been using Dunlop straplocks on my LP since the early 80s, but not on my others because of the screw mods that would be necessary. Wouldn't it be cool if new EBMM's came with the 'dual use' button end already installed?

I installed Dunlop straplocks on my AL and the screw heads only needed filing down (on my grindwheel) by a fraction.
Still, now we have an EB equiv. with no mods - should be great !!!
