Hi, i am italian sorry for my bad english.
I have a ebmm petrucci bfr koa, one day while i was playing, i realize that the tone push pull with the piezo don't work. tone up or tone down don't change nothing (central pickup position). i send the guitar in the italian support and after 1 month they send me the guitar with a report where he said that the guitar had no problems, instead the tone was always the problem. the store where i bought the guitar called the support and they answered him that the tone has no work in that position. when i was playing with the piezo i always used the tone up... what can i do?

I am not sure of your problem, are you saying there is no difference in sound when your tone knob is pulled and the pickup selector is in the middle position and the guitar is in Piezo mode?

When piezo is on, the normal controls doesn´t work, and you have to reach for the "far away" knob for volume.

You can adjust the tone or output in the back of the guitar.

If you want the "normal" controls work with piezo, then you have to select the middle position with the upper switch, which enables both PUs.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!

If you are in piezo mode (switch on the horn up) - then your magnetics are off and pulling up on the tone knob isn't going to change the piezo sound. If you place the switch on the horn to the middle, then you can blend the magnetics in.

I second Lou. I have the same guitar. Piezo limits your controls to the bottom volume knob and the tone controls on the back of the guitar.
