HELP!! Calling all experts!

I left my Silhouette in it's case for a month or so and when I pulled her out today she now has a noticeable raised split on the top end of the body between the strap peg and the bridge. To me, it looks like it has just ever so slightly separated where the two body pieces have been glued and a small line/indent is now noticeable through the finish where the seam is. The guitar has been stored in a climate controlled home and it completely boggles my mind how this may have happened. The only thing I can think of is that the bridge had been tightened down so that the tremolo system is inoperable and perhaps during this years temp changes the tension may have finally loosened the glue some what.

At this point, my biggest concern is how to prevent this from getting any worse as I know it will have seriously negative effects on this instrument if the problem persists.

Thanks in advance to any one who has any tips. Cheers!!

I think you need to contact CS for that. Not much we do here. Any tip will be useless without seeing the guitar. Customer service is the solution!

Grrrr... This bites. I will call them tomorrow. I'd like to post a pic but my camera was not able to properly capture what is happening because it is just so subtle in the finish. I do have an authorized Musicman dealer in my area. Maybe I should show it to him.

If it's still under warranty, take it to the dealer. Else take good pics and email CS tomorrow, they'll help you out.
