So I've been playing my new (used) Silo a lot lately, and I absolutely LOVE it. And I ADORE it beyond words, but I've run into a problem. As a long time Lester player, and just hard tails in general, I've always had a particular fondness for string with bite. I can't do flimsy strings. After 10 years of string experimentation, my heart led me to RPS 11's. By far my favorite string, and for the past 4 years I've been playing them exclusively. Absolutely the best balance for tone, tuning stability, and durability. On my 25th, they're absolutely wonderful. Probably seeing that it's hard tail.
BUT.......
Once I got the Silo that's where the problem for me started. I slapped the RPS 11's on the Silo (part of the problem is I tune to Eb for my single coil tones) and they just felt soooooo flimsy...... I put on 5 springs, tightened the trem claw to the point where the tremolo was still usable, and still no dice. I raised the action to my preference (high action) and there simply isn't enough resistance.
I know I'm being nit picky, but I'm very particular about my strings, and I don't want to leave the RPS 11's but I think I will have to. I've been scouring the Ernie Ball site, and I see that the RPS line stops at 11 and the next highest gauge are the "Nickel Not Even Slinky" pack

Does anyone have experience with these? I can't seem to find a review for them in regards to single coil guitars, they seem popular for the de-tuned metal base. I think 12's or 13's would be great. But I'm really lost at this point. Only if there were RPS 13's!!!! But I can't seen to find anything to get me going. Youtube is useless for once! Ahhhh!
I'm only asking since I'm in Korea now, and I have very scarce and difficult access to a selection of strings. I'll probably have my bother carry me a boatload when he visits me, but I'd like to know what I'm getting into before that.
Thanks so much for your time guys! Any/All input is well appreciated.
