EBMM Stingray 5 HH Black Stealth w/ ebony Freetboard......

Hello Fellow Earthshakers!

I'm from Canada, and was wondering if MusicMan offers Ebony Freetboad on their StingRay 5 HH Black Stealth! I Just made an order through Long and Mcquade (Canadian Music Store) and the owner told me that Musicman Do not offer ebony freetboard on their Basses? It is odd?

Are they available with ebony freetboards?

All of the Stealths come with an ebony board. The Stealth Bongos came with Rosewood for a while, but shortly after they started offering the Stealth option on the Sterlings and 'Rays they started using Ebony on all of the Stealths.

I do not understand? Then why this supplier told that musicman can not offer a MusicMan stealth with ebony freetboard! Appenrently MusicMan only made those on there 25th annervasary line? I know that MusicMan have a custom line, wich means if you would like ebony freetboard on one of their product! They would make it for you! Right?

I think the supplier is misinformed. It may be that Ebony is not listed as an option on the Stealth since it comes standard with the Ebony board.

Also, Music Man does not have a custom line.

If you click on the Bass Central link that rizzo posted, you can see that all of the newer Stealths have Ebony boards and a few of the older ones that they still have in stock have Rosewood.
