Hello everyone. Glad to be here. I see a lot of familiar usernames from Talkbass and VBTC!

I just bought my 2nd SR (a 5er) last night as a Christmas/B Day present to myself. These basses just grow on you! My favorite GC shill ordered an HH SR5 and recommended that I buy and take home a regular 5 so I can see if I can live with the extra 25% bass. If it works for me then I just turn it in and get my actual order (gotta love that return policy). Else, I settle for a 4. So far so good. I keep mistaking the B for an E but I'll nail this yet. I'm going to find out on Monday what he has for me. I'm pretty flexible with colors but it has to have a maple f/b. I am also hoping that it will not involve a long wait.

Hey Fig. IMHO, the 2PU model addresses what (again IMHO) is the Ray's only shortcoming. A somewhat weak low midrange. I know the HH SR4 I tried had a great full sound. I can't wait to hear it through my home set up.

The Bongo has a great tone but I think these new 2pu SRs just may challenge their youngest sibling.
