Hi there, I´ve been reading this board for a long time but now i have question; just found no answer:

I love my two LukeIIs! But since I play in a Cover/Top-40-Band, I need a bit more flexibility. In fact: i need some acoustic-tones. Now I´ve found a Replacement-Bridge with Piezo-Pickups called "LR Baggs X-Bridge Standard". These things are easy to get over here in Europe. Anyway... The X-Bridge was made for the use in the US-Std-Strats. I´d like to put this in my Luke, but I can´t find any drawings or sheets.

to make a long story short: since the X-bridge fits the US-Std i wonder, if the US-Std-Trem will fit the EBMM? Can anyone help me... please :)

Don't think I've ever seen that done.

Just my two cents, your best option price-wise and sound-wise would be to find a Luke with a factory piezo. If you really want to add one, perhaps look at somebody like graph tech, who makes piezo saddles that will fit the EBMM bridges.

Rather than alter your guitars, may I recommend the Boss Acoustic Simulator pedal? Very convincing acoustic tones, especially in a band situation.

I'd give a call to CS to get the answer but this product "may" work but Beej is right for the price of the modification you could sell on of your Luke and purchase a second hand equipped with Piezo

Wow! Thanks for these Answers! Actually selling is no option to me! I love my Guitars too much. The Luke-Blue-one is my Baby and the other is this beautiful 2007 Ltd in the stunning Blue Dawn! So.... no way ;)

The Option with a Boss AC-3 sounds pretty cool! I Think, I´d take a closer look. Does anyone know; if the sounds are similar (Piezo/Acoustic Pedal?)? I don´t need a 1:1-Acoustic sound, but nevertheless i´m pretty sophisticated... :)

I would also highly recommend to NOT do a mod that might not work the way you want and potentially injure the beautiful guitars. Plus the Music Man bridge is phenomenal. beej has a good recommendation with the saddles, and a pedal is also a good option. The two single coils in position 4 almost have acoustic tone quality to them hehe.

Used an AC3 and a GT5 with the AC3 sounds for many years with my Silhouette Special. You wouldn't confuse the sound with a vintage Martin, but it provides an excellent generic acoustic sound at the tap of a toe......and in a band mix I doubt anyone would tell the difference....plus it's a lot cheaper & less risky than the other options

I've got an AC3 on my board right now. Sure I prefer the factory Piezo on my Silhouette, but since I haven't been fortunate enough to find a Piezo equipped AL around here yet, I use the AC3 whenever I use an AL or the Morse. One of my projects is a cover band as well, so I know where you are coming from. The tones (Piezo, Dreadnought (Standard), Enhanced (more OM type) and Jumbo are your choices) are all PLENTY good enough for stage use. Surprisingly good actually. Always get good feedback on the tone. The EBMMs give you a good lively tone to start with, which helps. One important tip to a good (simulated or real piezo) sound is to make sure you use fresh strings (Slinkys of course :,).

I am gonna have to try one of those too. I was dreading having to bring an acoustic to a cover band gig.

I think that was sound advice about using a pedal which is what I did before owning a guitar with a piezo. In fact I still love the sound of the Martin acoustic simulator on the Digitech Clapton Crossroads pedal of his Martin he used on the unplugged rendition of Layla, that sounds really good when plugged into 2 amps or mixers panned hard left and right. These can be had on ebay for a really good price besides getting 6 other wicked tones. But what ever model you choose I would definitely go that route until you could get a Luke or whatever model with one instead of moding and something going wrong.
