Ok. This is actually something I've wanted to put on here for the past month. And try as I might I couldn't find a decent excuse to put it here.............till now!

About a month ago my Dad took me and a friend and his missus to watch Jeff Waynes musical version of War of the Worlds at the M.E.N Arena here in Manchester UK. It is simply the most slick, intense, spine tingling show I have ever been to. If you know of the story in any shape or form I urge you to see it if and when you can. It is simply amazing! We were on the middle tier right at the back, which for a show like this is probably the best place to be. You can capture the whole spectacle and absorb the atmosphere, which there is lots of! One of the most impressive technical features is the use of Richard Burton, who has been dead quite a while now. Yet there he is, on the big sreen. It's the closest CGI rendition of a human face I have seen to date! As the show goes on you do forget that it is a computer generated image. Unbelieveable!!!

Being so far back, I couldn't see what models the guitar players were using. And Ta Da! One of them is using a Luke.

Check it out!:D

I saw that show too in Cardiff. I was about 3 rows from the front and it blew me away! On the tour we saw, the 2nd guitar player was using a PRS McCarty and a Strat. The player on the video is using a Luke, and I believe it is Laurie Wiseman who plays in the pit band for We Will Rock You.

Tim , Laurie Wiseman is the MD on "We will Rock you" the resident guitarists are Phil Hilborne and Mike Casswell... I was at the Dominion Theatre for a dress reshersal about 6 months ago, it was awesome... I spoke to Mike Casswell about his rehersal and audition for the show, it was quite funny actually, he said that Wiseman stood in front of him during the audition, I asked "did he make any suggestions..??" and Mike replied..." eh no...!! he told me EXACTLY what to play... no room for any self expression and play it like the record.... anything else won't work...!!!!" he passed the audition....:D cool stuff.....:)

and while we are on the subject ..... LUKE'S RULE..........:D IMO they are the most versatile EBMM you can purchase..... I think probably no other guitar comes close in terms of ultimate versatility for ANY situation....:D
