Well, I already said that I like it a lot, but I suppose I don't mind repeating myself for a good cause.

I like it a lot.

Thanks, that means a lot coming from Lord Bongo. And for all those who express hatred towards Ebay, I picked up this used as new Bongo for only $800 dollars plus $35 for shipping. I mean it is MINT. Ive seen basses hanging in Guitar Center in worse shape. By the way it looks twice as good in real life. The white ice pickguard screams, even though it looks like plain white in the pics.

What is with people and Lava Pearl. Its such a boring color, but everyone and their mother seems to have a MM bass in it. My local Guitar Center has that same Bongo, and then two Stingrays with matching headstocks.

I used to think the Lava Pearl was only 'eh,' too. But, once I saw them with a white, or white ice pickguard, my opinion changed.

It is true that I've seen the Lava Pearl everywhere I've seen a Bongo, but I think that simply has to do with it being a newer color.

But, yeah, you still deserve the finger for calling his bass lame in his thread. :p

Dude, get yourself a guitar stand so your're not leaning it against brick! You would have died if it slid against that and hit the groud!

Hey now... The "trick towel" method is my invention ;) I don't like the stand in the way of the pics......

Of course mine is leaning in a corner...

Oh I have come to grips with needing and wanting a Bongo. I just can't stand the thought of replacing the SR 5 my wife just bought me with a Bongo. No I wouldn't sell the SR 5 but I am sure I wouldn't play it much as I would the Bongo. Therefore I guess I just wait until the time is right.

I am just happy to be part of the MM family with the SR 5 and have no regrets for owning it.
