EH Pocket Metal Muff

I have a Sterling HS and am interested in buying an EH Pocket Metal Muff. Has anyone tried this pedal with a bass? If so, what were your impressions. Would a Little Muff Pi be better for bass?

Sounds just like his big brother - GREAT FOR BASS.
I use it a lot. Try to split the sound so you'll have bypass + pedal combined
at the output, this way you'll keep the low thump going when the pedal is on.
