Just curious, why are the MusicMan guitar tone-knobs equipped with 22nF caps? With that, you got nothing more than a switch to have full treble or none.

Do you guys from EBMM have ever thought about using a smaller cap to have the tone control get a more useful tool?

Same with the vol-pots. Get a small cap on ´em and you´ll never loose tone by reducing the volume.

I think that´d make a MM-guitars even more a player intrument :)

I have never seen the tone control qualities you describe on the six Ernie Ball guitars I have played, all of them different models. Either your guitar was hijacked and ravaged by goblins, or the BS knob is set to maximum gain.

How are you doing on those strap locks?
Still waiting...can´t wait to get em.

I have never seen the tone control qualities you describe
Okay, that was a bit exaggerated, but in most situations the tone-knobs takes too much highs. I´ve heard that from a lot of people.
And if you ask why most guitarists don´t use their toneknob they´ll say that it often takes too much of the highs.

It´s just an idea...If I´m the only one who likes it, that´just fine. :)

I use my tone knob on my Luke all the time... Can give you some really cool gritty Les Paul neck humucker blues
