Ever have it where you're at work and you realize that when you woke up this morning that you didn't immediately grasp the weirdness of a dream you had?

Well with the excitement of the new Dargies coming out -- combined with old nostalgia about a WRX I used to own (big Subaru fan here, I know I'm not the only one) --

No kidding here,

I dreamed I had a new Dargie Subaru WRX.

It was pretty flashy... an AWD sedan in sparkley color-changing martini green. Complete with martini logos.

So I'm kind of embarrassed by this... but do green cars sell? I think I'd actually buy this one to go along with my guitar... Seriously it was pretty awesome in the dream.

Dargin, are you listening? :D

I think overall Green cars do not sell very well. The most popular colors are black, white and red. I would like to see a sunburst color on a car.... you photoshop experts, get to it. ;)

Kinda sweet

It seems that every minivan in this area is some shade of green. A Dargie 2 WRX would be a welcome change from the overabundance of white, blue, and silver ones around here.

This year I've sold more instruments in the Dargie 2 color than any other single color except maybe Mystic Dream - which is also green. I think it really depends on the package, as teal pearl, emerald burst, and trans teal are generally not fast movers.

Admittedly, it's more Dargie 1 ;)

That's pretty nice, but my immediate quips include:

1) no martinis
2) no subie
3) no dargie

Still, nice find!

'04 Subi Wrx here. Gladly trade the red in for a dargie green. I hate the red they chose for that year....

I can just imagine the sparkles now...

My black (JBP) subie had the nicest gold flakes in the finish... Somehow the car looked green under those fluorescent gas station lights. But Dargie green would be so much better.

I owned and wrenched a WRX for years, and I agree.

A DD2 Scooby would be awesome!

Do it!!! Especially if you can get it done with the new STi hatchback! That'll be pretty awesome! it's almost like a metallic lime-green. Throw on 18" chrome-lipped rims, and you're raring to go!!!!:D

Many traditional car designs and finishes are ... kind of boring.

Dargie would be so cool! Mystic dream also. Someone mentioned sunburst -- black cherry burst comes to mind for me -- that would be great too!

There was actually an article in last weekend's main paper about the trends of car colours, and GREEN is the new "in" colour !!

There are plenty of Metallic Dargie-type green cars around the place at the moment.

^^^ that is a pretty scion there. nice work.

Though I must say the actual Dargie color would blow the wheels off that thing!

Have to say I'm no fan of the current WRX, always liked the older ones though - not that I need or could afford one.

I didn't like the new ones at first either. Then I saw my friend's STi which he did a bit of tasteful mods too and I was hooked.
