EMG 89 instead of an 85 Bridge pickup on a Luke?

Has anybody swapped the EMG 85 pickup over to an EMG 89 on the Bridge of a Luke ?
Let us know your thoughts and experiences guys, seriously thinking of doing this. I love the stingin' sound of a single coil when playin some twangy Country, even though Im a die hard Rocker.... not 'arf !

ya know ive wondered what an 81 would sound like. I asked Luke and he said he hadnt tried it either.

i have some emg's around so i may try it but honestly the luke's pretty rad as is and whenever i think about it i decide not to bother

I have a EMG in a Tom Anderson guitar and the single coil setting is not too twangy and single coil sounding. in combonation with the middle pickup not as bell like as the two front ones together.
