EMG 89 vs EMG 89R ? at the Music man Luke!

I'm going to put the EMG89 or EMG89R on my Luke instead of the EMG85.
What do you think is a better option?

I currently think the EMG89R is a better choice when considering output balance.
However, I am not sure yet.

Your opinion will be of great help to me.

So the difference between the 89 and the 89R is which coil is active when in single coil mode.
Do you want the single coil closer to the bridge or further away?

Have a look at the 57TW as well. It's like an 89 but based on the excellent PAF 57 bridge instead of the 85.
