Question Emg mmcs?

Can I get some opinions on this pickup? I do like the sound of my Sub 4, but would like to try something different, and I really like the quiet operation of the EMG guitar pickups.

A few questions, since I'm already active, can I just swap the pickup. EMG needs 25k pots and comes with one volume and tone I believe. What pots are in the MM's?

This is really not the place for discussing something like this, but I'll just tell you that you'll need to exchange everything if you go the emg route, as their pickups are active as opposed to your current set up where the pick upsa re passive and then run through an active on board pre amp.

Ok thanks, sounds like it is not really a direct replacement at all. and I don't like the idea if a single tone knob.

I think I'll hold off on this idea and start saving for an MM that has the silent circuit and mid control instead.

Smart move (especially since the eq on those others are NOISY)
