i was interested in making my own 6 string bass. From what it looks like it, the EMG pickups come with a everything you need to wire a bass that you made. I was also intested in knowing if you could add control knob made by EMG with out having to do any complicated soldering.

I highly recommend that while you're learning to build a bass, that you also take the time to learn good soldering techniques. It's really not too hard. It will be a big benefit in the long run, it will also free up your options to more than just 'plug-n-play' EMG setups.

im old school computer moder. I got the solder skills. i Just dont know how to wire them right.

PUs in series, straight to the jack, balls to the wall. Knobs? You dondneeedgnostangkeengnobs....
