hey guys is it as easy as taking the original emg out of my Luke and replacing or is there some kinda changing of pots or anything like that?
i cant find any info on this ?

Which pickups do u want to put in? AFAIK do active emg pickups need 25k pots. For passive pickups u use 250k or 500k pots

As far as I know, if pickups have lower than 25kohm impedance (EMG typical impedance) then the volume pot should be replaced as well.
By reading installation PDFs, I understand all EMG-X pickups come with active VLPF tone control, but nobody prevents you from using standard passive 25kohm tone control. And viceversa, you can use the new active VLPF tone control with "old" EMG (non X) pickups.

Am I wrong?
