EMG's in a JPX

Has anyone here ever tried to put EMG's into a JPX? I was wondering if they fit. I have the chance to pick up some 25th anniversary EMG's in chrome for a good price and was considering putting them into my JPX. It may seem a bit sacrilegious to put EMG's into this guitar, but I'm looking for a more aggressive metal tone. I really like the sound of the crunch lab, but the liquifire is too dark for my taste.

Stay passive. You will have to change all the pots and I dont know how the jack will work with the piezo being in there. Just get a passive that sounds like a active.
