Actually I've just re-read the text and he seems to contradict himself. First of all he's "selling it for a friend" - then he's "switching back to a single coil guitar"?

Rather strange???

I'm the one selling the guitar, aka the "good friend". I wrote the description before-hand, and emailed my friend the pictures so he could post it for me. He added the disclaimer at the front and put it up for sale. I still haven't gotten around to creating a seller's account yet.

I know, I know... why sell one of the greatest guitars in the world! Well... I played a fender cs and it made me reminence for my main axe that I sold to get the Petrucci. I don't think I'll ever go back to the evil empire, but I am thinking about trying the Albert Lee? I'm just a poor college student and can't afford to build a collection of multiple Music Man guitars... yet.

It's for sale in Mn (rather than from Ks--where I'm from) because I got the great fortune of being able to spend a summer doing an internship up north--about a 20 degree difference from back home!

I'm sure you will find a Ball to suit. If not an AL then a Silhouette Special SSS should fulfill your desire for the single coil sound but with all the advantages of a Music Man.
