EP1111 and allparts switch

So i've searched for days and this has been discussed alot.
The dimarzio ep1111 (very expensive and quite rare to find in italy) has a dedicate wiring diagram to the petrucci wiring (neck-split inner coil-bridge)

I read that the allparts switch has not the same poles disposition, so the dimarzio D diagram (for the ep1111) is not useable.

So what i'm asking is: can I do the mod with the allparts switch and how I wire them?

Yeah, there are two flavours of this switch. You can wire your guitar up with either, though you'll need to work out the right wiring.

yea but how do I wire them? is there a wiring diagram or something out there? i dun have a multimeter

It'll require some work.

You'll need the switching diagram for it (ask allparts, or whoever actually makes the switch). Then you'll need to compare that to the switching diagram from Dimarzio. Then you can change the JP wiring diagram to do it. Or maybe you can get lucky and find something on the 'net.

So if you're game, give it a go. Else get somebody who's handy with this kind of stuff to do it for you, or just order the Dimarzio switch for a few more bucks and save the hassle.

Btw, a multimeter is pretty handy (almost essential) for this kind of stuff. If you're planning on doing any wiring, pick up a cheap one at your local electronics store.

I had to replace my original switch with Allparts (or similar) switch for a while (before I got the original replacement part), and the difference between these were this:

Allparts (at least mine) 4pdt switch connects the poles like this:

pos1: : pos2: : pos3:
o-o o : o-o o : o o-o
o-o o : o o-o : o o-o
o-o o : o o-o : o o-o
o-o o : o-o o : o o-o

EP1111 works like this:

pos1: : pos2: : pos3:
o-o o : o-o o : o o-o
o-o o : o o-o : o o-o
o-o o : o-o o : o o-o
o-o o : o o-o : o o-o

Hello, people! Can i use a switch like this to wire a HSH guitar, and this switch to get the humbuckers series/parallel/coil split?

Yes, with any 4PDT on/on/on switch. (Some are just on/on, no middle toggle position.)
