So, get up at 3am to do a little shopping with my buddy Dan. Figure we got time to burn and fedex doesn't usually come until after 3pm in my area. Check my tracking number at 7:30am and it just showed as out for delivery, ok we got time. We finish everything, go out for breakfeast and I get home at 9...and guess what is already waiting for me! Didn't have to spend the day creeping through the blinds or anything lol.
For most of you guys who know me on here, You know I've been searching for a green EVH for some years now. I've even tried to convince some of you to sell lol. Its the one guitar that I have lusted over,and the one guitar that has eluded me the 3 times they've come up for sale in the last 5 years.
I've been through many EBMM's these last couple years and even had my falling out over a certain green axis tribute( BP,you know what Im talking bout) Evh's, axis,wolf gangs have all come and gone and I've always had the thought of a green EVH in my mind. Unfortunately with my personality,and we've come to find it may have to do with a psychological disorder, something as simple as a hairline crack in the neck pocket,finish flaw, color or some other ridiculous thing that other people may overlook has caused me to buy/sell/trade to no end...until now.
Due to that mind set I have, I've basically "put the pussy on a pedestal" if you will concerning a green EVH. As crazy as it sounds, wanting one may have actually caused my constant flipping problem. This has already gone longer than most will read so I guess I'll get to the guitar
I believe its in better shape than Richard described her on eBay(probably downplaying a bit for the picky eBay crowd) Sounds and plays fantastic. I've searched up and down the web looking at every all original green evh there is to compare the color and this one has absolutely no fade to it whatsoever. Its a very rich emerald green and I couldn't get the color to capture as it is in person. This one is more of the "marble" type of top instead of quilt. Could've been a plain top for all I care, Biggest part for me is its all original. I don't care how much its worth or how much it cost me, this will be my main player at this point, sorry EVH collectors lol. At this point in time, this one is coming with me to the end so it doesn't matter if it acquires more play wear.
