Saw this in Premier Guitar. Music Man is mentioned as being one of the brands auctioned and EC is posing in front of MM amps in that picture.

they said around 70 amps in the article and also a lot of Marshall as far as I understand :) But those Musicman amps are very desirable units hummmmmmm

I'm just curious, where those guys are storing all their equipment ...

Just goes to show you how much Clapton is into the vintage craze lol. This is his third or fourth major auction with this one looking like it is mostly amps, as he auctioned off just about every classic vintage guitar he owned. So what does that tell you if he performs with new guitars these days. It tells me that he believes today's guitars are as good as anything made 40 -50 years ago. I had also read an interview with George Gruhn the vintage guru who said that today's electrics are just as good really as vintage models ,and the big difference is in acoustic guitars. I guess Clapton is sinking more money into Crossroads which is his rehab center. I seriously would like to know who the hell goes here, as it looks like paradise in Antigua, and I doubt it houses your run of the mill street addicts. I wonder if they have a wing for gear junkies as I'll pack tomorrow.lol
