Eric Roche RIP

Hi Everyone,

I didn't know that Eric Roche had passed away. Rest his soul.

He made a lot of contributions to the UK mag Guitar Techniques and was heavily involved in the ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music). Not to mention that, but he was an awesome player too.

Met him at Music Live Birmingham 2004, very swell guy. RIP, Eric.

I think that was a few months ago, very sad. I saw some footage of him from NAMM very funny. Great player.

The players from Guitar Techniques have done a tribute CD for him. It was actually done before he passed away to help his family financially. Also the next issue of GT has a tribute song for him if I remember correctly. As everyone has said awesome player. His version of Jump is something special.
