I'm new to EB strings and was wondering if the Earthwood Rock and Blues were good? I have a Yamaha acoustic guitar with Elixirs but I just bought another guitar and the strings are a little heavy. I was looking around and the Earthwoods and thought I'd try them. I've only been playing for a few months and I am still learning but I would like some strings that are good for Rock and Blues. The type of guitar I just got is a Dean V Coustic. What do these strings sound like?

The strings sound really good, but the feel is definitely different than typical acoustic sets. It has a plain 3rd string rather than a wound one which is great for bends, and lends itself well to soloing. It's great for single note stuff, but if you're mainly wanting a set to strum chords without having a heavy set, I would highly recommend the Ernie Ball Coated Phosphor Bronze strings in a Light or Extra Light set!

The Ernie Ball coated phosphor bronze sounds really good and last as long as elixir but sounds brighter and have a beter sustain!
