Even if I'm new here I really appreciate and respect those stories! I really like to read this and with every post read here I'm more happy to be here! Anyway this story is great!
Thanks BP once again!
PS. Is it possible to take picture of the same place shown in the picture now? Could be great to see how everything has changed. Just an idea.
I (and my rocker friends) from the late 60's and early 70's had a "special" connection to to your dad Ernie Ball, something the younger guys don't have.
It's hard to explain, but it seemed different back then. Ernie Ball was considered like one of us, in the same category as (many won't know this name) but Big Daddy Roth, and those "figures" of the day.
He was viewed as a "cool" and "hip" guy, with a bit of a "surfer" personality. He really brightened up our rock days back then. And, back then no one considered even playin' any other strings- guaranteed, ask anyone from the day!!
BP-
What a great story... it's been several years now since my grandfather passed away. He introduced me to music and gave me my first guitar. Every time i pick up a guitar i think of my grandfather. It's what keeps us going and the drive goin. BP... i know your father would be very proud of what you've done, not only for the music world but for the welfare of those you care about: The Community. Thanks for all you do...
