if you can provide me with some data on Alwin (address and stuff like that), I will gladly ask him to join. I'm also thinking about asking some other people to come, but it's a heavy trip and jetlag is not my best friend

I will probably arrange my flight and hotel in the next couple of days. If there are UK people planning on going, let me know. I'm probably going with British Airways so maybe we can meet at London Heathrow.

Gonna stay overnight, then grab a car and drive down the coast road to SLO on the Thurs. Fly back Sun afternoon from SF to LHR.

Hey Dave,

My wife and I will be flying into San Jose on Thursday the 15th and driving down to San Simeon on Highway 1. We are spending the night in the Sea Breeze Inn there (Thanks to kbaim for telling me about this place.) and then on to SLO on Friday via a couple of wineries. Staying in the Quality Suites in SLO.

Sounds terrific - I've been up and down portions of Highway 1 when visiting San Fransisco years ago. Made it as far south as Monterey. Beautiful drive!
