Should be able to get them via many routes, via EBMM themselves (through the 800#/sales?), Musician's Fiend, and everyone's fave, eBay. Hey, maybe our ol' pal Bassplyr could do you some right on that as well.

Those things are tanks; while playing tonight, I hit mine pretty hard a few times, all without any cause for concern. And if the guts die on ya, EBMM will rebuild it for $45!

You would not go wrong getting one of these.

Volume Pedal
The potentiometer has a 250k ohm resistance suitable for the audio path of passive instruments. Behind the jack area under the footplate is a taper switch, which provides the user two distinct volume swell rates. A tuner output is provided and allows silent tuning when the pedal is in the heel down position.

VP Junior 250K
New compact design allows more floor space. The potentiometer has a 250k ohm resistance suitable for the audio path of passive instruments. Behind the jack area under the footplate is a micro taper switch which provides the user two distinct volume swell rates. OC forgot to mention that the Volume Pedal has an 11 out of 10 rating on it's"This Pedal Rocks" rating. I am sure it is on the specs sheet somewhere, probably in small print towards the bottom.

:)

Just kidding OC, I just had to make sure that SGman knew how great they were as well as the other important stuff.
Also this is my way of trying to mask the fact that I have no idea what "swell rates" or "taper switches" are. I was also a little puzzled by the word "tuning."

:D

My work here is done...

pasive/active question on Vpedals

Hey everyone, I was hoping some fellows might know an answer for me.
I just purchased the EB volume pedal (#6166)....After checking this websites pedal options...I noticed that its designed for passive instruments. I have a 2001 Musicman 5-string stingray and of course its active.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue? If I use the pedal, am i diminishing my bass signal when it goes into the amp?

It seems I should be using the #6167 model from the description, but no music store's carry them...not even Guitar Center...hrm har hrm.

I could really use some help if I need to return the darn pedal....I don't want to be cutting my signal.

Thanks for any and all help you may provide friends!

Unless someone can post some insight on this tonight, hang in there, and Jon can square you up in the morning. :)

Anybody know the dimensions of these pedals? Eg. how big is the full size units vs. the JR's?

Thinking of picking up a junior via mail order (havent seen one in the shops) but was wondering how "compact" it is....

Anybody have preferences of the full size pedals vs JR's for operation??

The EBMM site lists the regular pedal as: "Overall dimensions: 4" W x 11" L x 2.5" H."

They do not have a listing for the JR's, another thing that Jon can clear up?
