I am ashamed to admit it, but after years of using erine ball strings, a friend recommended that i try Fender super bullet strings. BIG MISTAKE! I bought two sets and both sets were extremely rusted on all three unwound strings. I proceeded to contact Fender customer support via telephone and was very dissappointed. The operator that i talked to said "We don't ship out rusted strings" and told me i must have bought used ones! lmao . i've been playing guitar since the age of six, 1979, and am pretty smart. I told himI didn't know fender sold used strings in plactic wrapped packages and that they did a fine job straightening out the wrap from the tuning machines. LOL what a bunch of bull. Lesson learned... when you play the best already, dont change. I will never buy another Fender string as long as i live. Sorry for the adultery commited to ernie ball strings, but like my ex wife said... It wont happen again. Thanks for making a good quality product that I have yet to have an issue with

Many many years ago I used fender bullets (because I was living in an area where EB strings were hard to get, weirdly enough). I used them for a maybe two years but honestly, I went back to EB because quality. I actually remember the day. I was pretty darn pleased with myself!

So, welcome back to the fold, welcome to the forum, now go run out and buy yerself a Music Man guitar. :)

Fender strings are pretty poor. In my ibanez days i used d'addario's but they didnt last long at all.
Im on m-steels now, love them to bits.

Everyone can mess up, it's how you deal with it when it happens that makes the difference. I had a set of rusted Slinkys the other day, contacted customer service and got them replaced without any hassle.
