ernie gonna make 9.5s?

did a search couldnt find anything on it, Ive switched to 10's and my hands havent really adjusted yet, I may need to go down to 9.5's.....

What kind of 10's are you using? 10-46, 10- 52? personally I couldn't see the point if there was a 9.5 available. Hopefully someone will anwser your question though.

We have done a little experimenting with some 9.5 gauges but to be honest its hard to tell if there is enough demand for these gauges. Some of the music stores have noted that a few people might use 9.5's but most normally would move to .10's .

thanks, just wondering .. I have yet to try 9.5s but I thought they may be a happy medium between 9 and 10's..... I'm still having a hard time adjustin to 10's on the High EBG strings and the 9sets seems so light now that I've switched.....uhg..

The 9.5 and 11.5 E-B strings feel like 10's to me on a Sil Special. I like moving up to

.34 and a .44 on the A-E string but like the .9 and .11 to keep the bend-ability.

ohoh now you got me thinking bout' mix and matching strings...lol.....does it ever stop? thanks for your help though..thats a good idea I may have to try....
