Evening all,

2 questions for you:

1) How are you guys getting on with the wah? Reliable? Sound good? etc? Hows the sweep of the pedal compare to others? (there is more travel right?)

2) Is there anywhere in the UK (preferably the Midlands) that stocks it so I can give on a try?

(I know that was more like 50 million questions... sorry!)

Cheers
Mark

I haven't played hundreds of wahs, but I love mine, sounds great and built like a Mack truck. Sweep is pretty wide. The side lights to indicate its on are a great addition.

i have the ball and love it, but the only previous wah i had used was a standard crybaby. the crybaby was very nasal and thin compared to the eb wah. the dunlop was given to me, so i didn't ever a/b it with any others during a purchase. the eb covers a much wider frequency range..particularly on the low end....sounds fatter and more musical to my ears. true bypass and a green led to let you know when its active...adjustable tension on footswitch to taylor to your liking. i dig it, but can't say that i've played a bunch of different wahs. i bought it purely based on the blues saraceno video on you tube. you should check that video out if you haven't seen it.

Thanks guys.

I've not tried PMT in Brum yet- but I will. I might go and have a trip out today to track one down. :)

You know, I've seen that video a bunch of times and teh wah never really appealed to me, but this last time I kind of got into it. Maybe my wah tastes are changing. I'll have to give one a go next time I'm at GC.

I think it's a great wah. Bigger sweep than you normally get, and I love the form factor (the VP pedal type housing).

Sonically, it's a good middle ground between a vintage and a modern wah. Has it's own voice.

I sold my Budda Wah (which was my favourite) for the EBMM and haven't looked back.

I've had a Morley Power Wah (more of a "aaarrrgh" sound than a wah sound), bog standard crybaby and I currently have the 535q. I've never ever ever been happy with my wah sound, apart from the wah effect on the old POD 2 (with the controller pedal on my behringer midi controller).

Im hoping the EB wah will fill the void in my life! :)
