Hey xparis - No, i've had at least 3 new sets of strings on the bass. The prob is there, irregardless of
the string.
However, it does seem slightly better with this set of EB Cobalt rounds that I have on it now.
Those strings sounds great on this bass. Were the G working to my satisfaction, it would be
an awesome instrument.
Would not hesitate to recommend those EB Cobalt strings for any Stingray. Made for each other.
This issue has kind of taken me off my bass resurgence for awhile.
Seems like I waffle back & forth between bass and guitar anyway. At this point, I am playing guitar
just for my own entertainment.
Like I've said a number of times here, the bass is really cool. Looks great, plays great and 3 of the
strings sound great.
But honestly I don't know if anyone else would even hear what I'm hearing with the bass.
Since I am not recording at home anymore, we will never know.
Thanks for the good idea and suggestion though xparis
