Here's the bass I'm 99.9% sure I'm going to order from Bass Central:

EBMM Bongo 4-String Dual Humbucker w/ piezo bridge, black ice pickguard, and graphite pearl finish

Any thoughts, suggestions, and/or compliments?

Thanks,
Preston

Oh yeah, I might add that I play somewhat "edgey" modern rock (no, not nu metal. haha) with a pick... particularly heavy picks.

Well, I'd be the last person here to argue with a choice like that, although I went for the fiver first and the four banger is being shipped later this week.

Sounds good to me, amigo!

It's all settled now. The bass is on Ernie Ball's backorder list! I thought you might say that, bovine. I've never owned a 5-string bass, so it would be something I would have to learn. That's why I went with the 4-string... for now anyways. ;)
I think this will be a step up from the Hamer Explorer I've been toting around to shows, haha.

When and if you ever decide to get into a fiver, the Stingray 5 and Bongo 5 are two of the easiest fivers to play. The string spacing is not too wide and the necks are extremely comfortable.

Let us know when you get your Bongo - I'm waiting on the Desert Gold Bongo 4, pictures ASAP.
