EVH color question

When the EVHs were first introduced, was transparent white one of the options? I could swear I remember seeing one in a store. Might be a nice option for the Axis now!

The options available at release were:

Red, Amber, Purple, Pink, Natural, Turquoise, Black, and Natural

Sunburst was added later (to my knowledge, though I want to say that it was an original option), and there were one offs or limited runs not publicly available, such as green, opaque black, and opaque gold (great picture of one on guitarhanger.net)

The only white that I know of is one that EVH has on ina pic on vintagekramer.net -- take a look. Do note, speaking of the Axis name, that the code/working name of the guitar, Axis, is attached to that headstock.
