Why should they be legal when even EBMM isn´t allowed to sell them or use them for restorations in their own factory??
This combination of the signature of Ed with the Logo of course.

Don't see why these should be illegal.

It may be illegal to try and pass your guitar off as an EVH model if it issn't one, But whose to say you haven't already got an EVH model and want to use this decal on that guitar?

They are illegal from my perspective because I own the Music Man and Ernie Ball names and this guy is making money off my property. How about we havre no idea what he is putting these on and how much damage putting my name on a piece of crap that I had nothing to do with...this is just a starter course in all wrong

okay as soon as i saw that name i got way more info then you guys can stand on this guy. in fact if any ebmm rep or lawyer would like to cantact me via pm i will show you the way. this guy has also been making fake ebmm leather straps like the ones evh used and selling them on e-bay for full price. anyone here know of the evh replica website ran by james/ aka frankeenstrat. well beofre all this came out he had made him a mod and once i started to hear things he checked him out. needless to say he isnt around anymore. one of my buddies bought one of these bogus straps and thats what started it all. i wouldnt say anythign if it was just decals but after i say his site i know who you are talking about and frankly i dont care about decals but to rip people off on hard ot find straps really pisses me off. this is not bogus info in fact we me and james talked about it the other day he has many e-bay id's and has really been ripping evh fans hard. i would really like to help so i wont post e-mails and contacts here but if wonderdog or someone with ebmm credibility would like to investigate let me know via pm.

i have contacted james and my buddy to let them know whats going on. wonderdog please contact me if you would like to talk to james about what he found and magnus my buddy said he would have no problem sending you the bogus strap. its one thing to get something and know its a replica and know its origin. its another to try and pass it off as the original.

i'm suprised that i heard nothing from ebmm staff. they must not care that he also made starps that he was pitching on ebay as the hard to find evh leather straps. that alone would piss me off.

There is a legal procedure with these types of issues,so they may not need to contact you, or if they do it may be further down the road. I wouldn't take it the wrong way...

Q) EVH Headstock decals, are these legal now ?

A) Only if BP and EBMM decide to re-issue the EVH (and while we're at it, pass the snowball, Lucifer);)
