I made the mistake of reading through a bunch of talkbass threads and now I'm wanting one of those new "high end" multi/extended string basses. Perhaps this:

Ah yes, nothing like the C-C#-D-D#-E-F-F#-G-G#-A-A#B-C etc tuning on ye olde 47 string.
