axis supersport pickup wiring

Hi,

I have a "small" wiring problem. I want to try some other pickups on my guitar, so i've made a picture of the wiring and took away the pickups. Somehow the picture got lost and I don't have a clue how so solder the pickups back.

Would anybody be so kind to take a look at the colors and where they should be?
It's written on the print, but it soesn't say where green and black should be...
I can just kill myself from not writing it down

Thanks Glenn, but that's not quite what I was looking for. I need to know exactly where the wires have to be soldered on the board...
three places are wuite sure. gnd (ground) white and red. But I don't know what to do with the black and green...

I don't have the actual wiring in front of me, but based on the dimarzio wiring and the EBMM switching scheme you should be able to work out which wire goes where.

For the HBs it's probably wired up as Green to ground and Red to hot, as so:

colorc3

The Black and White would wire together for a humbucking configuration, else they'd be used when the pickups split. Not sure which way the pickups mount into the guitar, so I can't say off-hand which pair will be the inside or outside coil- it could vary.

If you're handy, give wiring it up a try. If not, your best option is probably to call EB customer service. They might be able to send you a wiring diagram.

Good luck!

thanks for all efforts. I've seen the wiring diagram from dimarzio, but somehow it's different.
I also tried the search function, but I guess I'm the only one with this "luck"... :(
Doens't anybody have a axis supersport (piezo) and can make a picture of the electrical board also containing the the pots?
That could be very helpfull!

does any of you know why these pickups have 5 wires, by the way?
Well Vince, I guess if you want to fool with the wiring, you have to be willing to do some homework and figure things out... ;)

beej posted this like earlier, but I'll do it again - everything you need is here:
Guitar Electronics wiring resources

The "five" wires is four wires and sheilding, and as is clearly shown in the diagram above, the green and sheilding go to ground...

This kind of stuff isn't for everybody - if you can't figure out the wiring based on what is in the thread, you should probably take it to a pro to re-wire for you... You can literally destroy your pots or pickups by mis-using a soldering iron with them...

Thanks for all replies! It's not that I can't read schematics, but because it was still not working I assumed it was a different wiring for the axis.

The probles was that one of the tips of the volume pot was not connected well at the circuit board.

I have already contacted musicman and they're sending me a new one.

But thanks again everybody!
