Hi

Purchased one of these Expression Overdrive pedals, used.

Have questions.

There are two protruding, silver-coloured pins on the foot lever, one front and one rear.

On the box, they are pictured straight up and down.

On the pedal they are bent, possibly semi-broken? See pictures.

Are these pins necessary? Do they brake? Can/do they ordinarily they bend?

There is a loose, large black thumb screw? What for?!?

There's a slight crackle, like pot scratch when playing through the pedal approaching the heel position.

Is there a pot there? Can it be cleaned if dirty?

Is there a manual of any sort available online?

Appreciate any input.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the pins are the crimped end of the kevlar cable and nothing to worry about at all. Yes, the pot can be cleaned with electrical contact cleaner with a long straw attachment to the nozzle (I stuff the cavity with paper towels to stop the excess running everywhere). As for the thumb wheel, I dunno. 🤷‍♂️.
