Extra knob on Silhouette?

This Silhouette on ebay has an extra knob, the seller isn't sure what its purpose is. Anyone know what it could be for? I guess there could be multiple reasons.

I would think it is to add the extra tone pot on the EMG pickups. I think you can mod that with a new pickguard and a push pull tone pot. That way you can get back to the factory look of 2 knobs. Maybe $50 for the PG and the Pot...

Could be anything. Probably a second tone control, maybe a blend?

Lol, the seller doesn't know what it does. Seems like a pretty basic question, doesn't it?

yeah - the SA set comes with two one controls.

If this isn't Roger's Silo (Uberthrall), it's someone who picked it up for a steal and is reselling it. Listed as sold here. I considered trading my sub with him but really wanted an HSH.
