Well, since they deleted my thread last night( wrong spot I guess) I figured I would post it here. Went to see Van Halen last night in Boston and all I can say is WOW!!! Best show I've ever seen in my life, nothing can top that. Words can't express the feeling of seeing one of your main influences, for starting to play guitar, for the first time. And Eddie freaking killed it. We had great seats too, 15 rows from the stage on the floor in the center. Can't believe how amazing his tone is in person, he's really evolved it into something extraordinary. Even playing single notes had more chunk and presence than i've ever heard. I think my hughes and kettner may be going back for a fender 5150. And how can i leave out Diamond Dave? I can't because he was spot on. A few hiccups where he may have forgotten the words but come on, dude is in his 50's and still rocking out. I'm glad I got to see him do his spin kick. I don't care what anyone says about Wolfie either, he is an amazing bass player and has great stage presense. All in all, a spetacular show, I'm glad I've finally seen one of my idols live
