In need of Factory Setup Specs for EBMM EVH. A tech screwed up mine so I'll do it myself if I can get the proper specs.
Thanks

What exactly did they do to it? It's not like there is much to do. The Floyd doesn't have adjustable saddles, and the bridge posts should not be moved. All action adjustments should be done with the neck shims and/or the truss rod. Factory action for the axis is I believe 4/64", which is the same as 1/16". Thats about 1.58 mm.

You can find out more on the FAQ:

He changed the post heights and the bridge isn't seated flat. I can't seem to get it flat now. I've turned the posts down as far as I can but the bridge isn't seated yet. There's also a weird buzz on the B sting when played open. When played fretted it's doesn't buzz. It just sounds very off like something is buzzing. I really need Factory setup specs to set the posts. They are not on the FAQ page. Thanks for any help.

I would say you need to get the guitar to a tech who is familiar with EBMM guitars. I would also contact Music Man customer service with some pictures showing the current state of the guitar bridge. It sounds like the tech decided to set up the EVH to float.

Anyone who knows anything about EVH should know that he always played his guitars with a decked tremolo.
