Take a good look at that guitar, and tell me that's a fake or not. I say it's a fake. I say this because of several things I noticed.

One, the neck pickup is wrong. Notice the cream is on the wrong side? The bobbins are not to spec.

Two, the headstock is missing its side contours. Where are they? True, it could be because of the camera angle, but I put my EVH in the same exact angle, and I still see my headstock side contours.

Three, the neck pocket and joint area is off. Notice the side of the neck does not show side contours like mine does. Notice how the neck plate appears to be placed in the wrong position, comapared with mine. It seems to be too far to the right. Again, possible camera angles can be to blame.

Four, the screw hole in the tremolo pocket where the center of the tremolo claw is. I don't have one there. So, why does he? Do Axis guitars have that hole there?

Five, the tremolo pocket above the tremolo block. The contour is round, and mine is flat. True, he added a new tremolo, which is suspicious in the first place, and he could have done something to it, but it still doesn't add up even if he did. The length of the pocket should only be different, not the width. And, why would he round it, and then make the rest of the trem pocket square? That makes no sense. Why not make the entire pocket square?

So, what do you think? Fake or real EVH Signature guitar? One thing is for sure, if it is a real EVH Signature, the man should be killed in the grosses manner posible for butchering it! *Ahem*

It's real...The sreial # shows it started life as a trans gold, and thats what the headstock looks like. The body was routed and painted.

So ley me get this straight, this bloke painted over an EVH and then routed it? No wonder the world is troubled.
