So there's this guy with a new account selling a collection of high end guitars over here. He said he's selling because of the earthquake in kumamamoto, his father is injured and he needs to fund a new house.

These are his pictures of the guitar. I asked him why there's no logo on the back of the headstock and he suddenly removed the item from the listing. Very suspicious? If it's a fake it's a very accurate one.

The body shape looks a bit different, with shorter horns, but it may be just the angle of the photo. Apart from the absent "Made in San Luis Obispo", this guitar looks legit. It has the first custom DiMarzio pickups, so maybe it's one of the first models ever produced? As for the serial number and check it.

never seen one before without the logo on the back of the headstock...

maybe it's some kind of a prototype?

the cam angle is a bit strange, maybe that's the reason why the body looks a bit odd...but all plates look original, the tremolo and the trem-block looks like it is original...hard to tell from the pix if it's a fake, it's well done.

check the serial number! there is a thread here, where you can post it.
