I've been so impressed by my new Albert Lee, it's scary...
I used to think nothing could touch the Axis neck, but now my Sport actually feels a little foreign when I switch over from the AL, which is odd because it was the other way around when I got the AL. I think the AL's neck actually fits in my hand just a teeny bit better since it's more curvy, but they're both miles away from anything else, in my book.
I've played a Luke once (really nice), ditto for a Morse (which I preferred, and thought sounded great once you got a handle on the knobs and switches). The Morse neck wasn't a drastic departure from the Axis, and probably felt more like the AL.
Oh, also tried a 7 string Petrucci a few months ago. REALLY cool, I'd imagine the standard one would be quite nice if you like flatter necks. Too bad I didn't get to plug it in - but it resonated nicely!
They're all pretty stellar instruments, and it's great that you can't really go wrong with any of them - just pick the style of music you want to play, and there's one that will cover the bases. Some even cross over the genres pretty nicely, the MM90-ed AL like mine is a near perfect all-around guitar (unless you want to do lots of Floyd wangbar stuff, which I've personally tired of and gotten away from)...
