A couple of questions:

1.What's your favorite top 3 cover tunes to perform while gigging out with your band?(if your not currently playing out, that's ok too.) And why are they favorites?

2. What's your least favorite and why? (maybe a good tune, but you've played it a gazillion times.)

Honky Tonk Woman - Rolling Stones
Long Train Running - Doobie Brothers
Rocky Mountain Way - Joe Walsh

least favorite?

Brown Eyed Girl - Van Morrison ..... while always a crowd pleaser, it is just one of those songs that I'd rather let someone else do:cool:

3 favorites:
Man in the Box (Alice in Chains)
Sober (Tool)
Holiday (Green Day)

3 I'm sick of playing:
Roadhouse Blues (The Doors)
American Girl (Tom Petty)
Laid (James)

My band doesn't do much heavy stuff anymore, so I look forward to the few songs that have some balls. :D

Favorites:

1. Crazy B*tch - Buckcherry; it rocks and depending on your crowd, chicks dig it.
2. Every Little Thing She Does is Magic - Ra version of The Police song; fantastic arrangement that rocks
3. Mr. Brightside - Killers; a sense of accomplishment because this was a pain for me to learn (I've seen other bands not do it well) and because chicks dig it.

Least Favorites:

1. Beverly Hills - Weezer; lame song (yet goes over well - I'll never know why)
2. Last Nite - Strokes; not a big fan of this one
3. What I Got - Sublime; good song but bores me

Favorites - way too many to name!! However, one thing for sure, we're all spoiled in one sense!!

Just imagine if you are in a "signed band", e.g., Aerosmith, Ac/dc, Van Halen, etc. . . whatever, just imagine how tired you may get of the songs you play over and over again throughout the decades (and you have NO choice of song variety outside your band's song compilation - it's your band's songs ONLY!!)

So, when you have the opportunity to "glean" songs from any artists out there, imagine how much those guys would enjoy doing that if they could!!

Just a thought guys.:)
