Ok after last night I've decided I'm fed up with my other instruments. My luke and albert HH are just miles above the rest:D (besides my stratocaster but its had some much work done to it). I'm thinking about replacing my Gibson Les Paul with P-90's with an Axis SS with P-90s. The LP is just one of those 50's tribute ones from last year. Its not like an actual 50's model or anything like that. I'm thinking I might go with a Maple neck too.
Any suggestions?

Also I'm waiting til next year to get my Morse because I'm waiting to see what the Luke III is..and hoping for some more colors in the Y2D:cool:

Robert...not sure what you mean by suggestions. Sounds like you want an Axis w/ P-90's and maple neck. Pick the color and roll with it bro. The P-90's are great btw.

The Axis w/ P-90's is a great sounding axe. Love mine. I especially love the neck pup the most. I can't compare it to a Gibby as i can't play Gibby's because of the neck. But then again...I am a EBMM fanboi! hahaha

I just got an Axis sport with MM90 and this is a very good wood/pups combination. It's a rock/Blues guitar, it's a kind of Tele with more balls (no pun intended)

Go for it, you will love it for sure as for the comparison with a Gibson I think the EBMM will sound overall brighter qnd of course will be lighter

Just picked up my first Axis SS (BFR) with MM90's from another forumite. It is a clean tone, blues monster. It's 'a Tele on steroids'. After 20 years, I sold my G&L ASAT with high output pickups. It was a great guitar but not a Ball.I love my MM90's & BFR rosewood neck.
