this has nothing to do with EB MM musicman , because god knows my silo is playing well

but I have those 2 les paul copy guitar , one made in the 70's and one made in china ,the touch is outstanding , and clean sounds awesome , but man , if I put distortion on it , it FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDS back so loud , it's stupid ...

the china one was on ebay
and the 70's one was tried through a smaller amps so it didn't feed

if I put the volume to 5 , I'm okai for the sound ,but if I pass it , it feeds loud and I can speak in the pick ups and hear myself ..

what are my option .. change the whole electronic ? if I have to I will, i just wanna know why and what to do

thanks

I had the same problem a while ago, I was informed that it was the pick-ups. Bought a set of EMG's, never looked back. Cheap pick-ups are pants.

Sounds like the the pickups you have are "microphonic". - in other words more susceptible to picking up and responding to vibrations. I experienced a similar problem with a Hiwatt amp whereby the tubes were microphonic and the amp squealed like hell!!

Try and play the guitar in such a position that takes it out of the feedback loop.

Otherwise +1 on Tims suggestion and get better pickups or keep ya money for some new 'balls !!
