I have the Sunn branded version of that amp. Think SVT with a 2nd channel, comp. and EQ. Very loud, very heavy. They show up used on ebay from time to time, but not for a whole lot cheaper than a good deal on a new one.

I have a Fender Bassman 300 Pro & love it. 300 tube watts is plenty of power for anything. Can get tone anywhere from crystal clear to down right dirty, just play with the knobs & sliders. My SR4 sounds great, but when I played a friends Bongo 5 HH good grief. I also have a Jack Casady sig bass because I'm a semi-hollow body freak & can get a damn good upright sound out of it as well.

I bought it new from Music 123 about 2 years ago & have not had any problems with it at all. I recommend it highly for anyone looking for a tube boat anchor, it weighs about 75 pounds, along with an Eden 410 XLT & a Mesa 1x15 that's a lot of weight to lug around, but worth it.
