Now, where do I send the pics to be posted? I can't do it myself as I don't have the hosting capability!

Second what's this about posting the serial number here on the forum? What's that for? And finally should I insure it? Thanks!

There's a pretty unique story behind this guitar I have waited so long for......

First of all, I ordered it through GC on March 2nd and paid it in full. For some reason GC Corporate did not place the order until March 25th.... My sales guy is a close friend of mine and had no idea. So here we are thinking 8-12 weeks right? Well about June 10th we call and it's not been started yet because for one it was ordered on March 25th by corporate, and second, corporate tells him that for some reason there was a problem getting premium wood to build this bad boy!

So I hold out although skeptical and call every week through the first week of August and each week I find it has not been started and I'm getting more and more bummed out until I find out that it was started just last month. It was finished this week early and ended up in Sterling's office from what Asia tells me, where he personally inspected it and told Asia to ship it right away.

Not only did it ship but it came second day air!

I'm going to send a thank you letter to all for building such a premier instrument and service to boot as I look forward to ordering about three or four more as backups!

Man, now you've got me wanting mine again! Last I heard it was in setup.

Holy Poop! That's a beauty! Wow, if it plays like it looks it must be worth the wait.

Damn, now I'm really jonesing hardcore for my new baby. It sure hasn't been six months but I'm hoping it isn't going to be that long either. :D

Man....that is one sweet looking axe! Is that tobacco burst? It looks like the same finish as kbaim's Axis SS.

Looks like the wait was well worth it bro! Sorry to hear about the mix up and it was nice of EBMM to get it to you quickly.....says alot about them!

Congrats again....

Doug,

That is one beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Do remember to put it down for a few minutes and draft that thank-you letter. It was awfully nice of Sterling to send that off 2nd day.

Wow.. I may have to buy some more MusicMan guitars after my Petrucci arrives. They are just so nice to look at, I could collect them even if I didn't play!

Deadringer is not the only one jonesing for his new baby now! At least he's close to completion.. I probably won't have mine 'til Thanksgiving. But I certainly will have something to be thankful for then, eh? :)
